Rep. Halims Donates N5 Million for Ankpa Town Hall Project

The member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, has donated the five million Naira for the construction of Ankpa Town Hall.

The Federal lawmaker who Chairs the House Committee on Steel Development made the donation while delivering his goodwill message at the 2021 Ankpa Day, an annual event organized by the Ankpa chapter of the Igala Consultative Forum.

Matching his words with action, Halims presented a cash of one million Naira at the occasion and promised to complete the remaining sum in sequence with the pace of work progress.

The Ankpa Day was well attended by many dignitaries from and outside Ankpa local government area and chief among them was His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu, Ejeh Ankpa IV; the Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu as well as members of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed and Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu.

Other dignitaries include the Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Kashim Akor; a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Muritala Yakubu Ajaka; Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Usman Ogbo; and Provost, College of Education Ankpa, Dr. M. K Ibrahim among several others.
