The member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development, Rep. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims celebrates Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on the occasion of his 47th Birthday.
The federal lawmaker in a felicitation issued by his coordinator of Information, Visual and Strategic(IVS) Operations, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru in Abuja described the Governor as an exemplary colossus leader, a peace loving and detribalised Governor whose devotion to the cause of Kogi State and Nigeria is unquantifiable.
He noted that Gov. Yahaya Bello has been steadfast in making efforts to achieve the true meaning of Kogi’s slogan, “the Confluence of Opportunities” as well as efforts to make the state attain the echelon of industrialized states in the country, thereby paving way for socio-economic and political development.
Rep. Halims added that the Governor have made the health of Kogites a priority through his revitalization projects in the health sector, massive investment in the state’s health facilities in a view to achieve the universal health coverage, stressing that Kogites and residents will continue to value the 47 years old Governor’s courage in making sure that Kogi State becomes one of the developed states in Nigeria, and continue to have national recognition in terms of portable water, physical infrastructure, uninterrupted educational system and other worthy endeavors.
Rep. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency come 2023 said the good people of the federal constituency and multitude of Kogites are appreciative of all that the Governor does to advance the cause of Kogi State.
“We identify with your strong political will in making the state a commercial hub, giant among Committee of States and a point of reference in the entire Nation,” he said.
The federal lawmaker concluded by appealing to the celebrant to extend his reconstruction of several roads in the State to the area.
He specifically mentioned Ejegbo to Abejukolo, through Enabo to Ofugo and hopes too, that the NEWMAP Statewide projects will capture the gully erosion areas of Ankpa Federal Constituency.
