I want to refute the claims by Oladele John Nihi tagging Hon. Taufiq Isa as violent. Yes, Okun land and her people are peace loving and very accommodating.
We have many other political parties which have gone round with their campaigns peacefully, why on earth should it be only PDP that is crying wolf?
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Ijumu Local Government chapter started and toured round the 15 Wards and 20 communities in the Local Government peacefully from Saturday 19th to Monday 21st, except in Ayetoro Gbede where our posters and billboard were destroyed.
I need to reiterate for the umpteenth time that the Administrator of Ijumu Local Government, Hon. Taufiq Isa is a peace loving person and an advocate of peace who would never engage in indecent practices.
For the writer’s imaginations who know the difference between minor and thugs should henceforth not tag our people as violent because we are not.
I also agree that there must be a Judas in every community and the writer is the real Judas in our ethnic group who have betrayed the trust bestowed in him in several occasions. You are the person tarnishing the image of our people.
It will be biased on my side not to say that the Administrator of Ijumu Local Government has always ensured that orderliness, peaceful and harmonious coexistence remains one of his topmost priority.
