The author of the piece, Jacob Unekwu Agada’s frustrations are understood, but not venting it on the PDP to conceal APC’s epilepsy.
By alluding that Kogi PDP is a party of the deaf and dumb, the author is to say the least the venting his frustration on the land while hanging the PDP by his own parochial submission.
The PDP had in the last years being on the neck of the APC for bad governance in the state, of which sadly and regretfully, the Buhari led Federal Government has consistently shielded the Yahaya Bello led Kogi Government.
We may as well ask Jacob Unekwu Agada, the author of EBULEJONU who claims to live in Lagos State, to tell the party what it should do? That he has not done, as we are open to constructive opinions/criticisms and counsels from which we take the best decisions thus far!
We in the PDP had gone to courts on issues, we have protested insecurities, we have even had our men arranged on thumped up charges in courts in Lokoja. Some have even been killed, shot at, maimed and what have you. We have issued countless number of press statements and addressed press conferences as well as petitioned agencies and the Federal Government directly, and we are not tired, and won’t be until the mantle unjustly bestowed to Yahaya Bello and APC is wrestled from them and taken custody off by the PDP again.
While going by all known standards and comparisons, PDP did better in office than what Jacob Unekwu Agada is today condemning, like we are still condemning as well.
We here appeal to the writer, rather than attack the greatest party in black Africa, the PDP, join us to cleanse the land of the mess the APC had brought on us as well as their crippled half leg home and APC pro-family that supported Yahaya Bello to be Governor in 2019 and claimed another party at other levels, if indeed he is not actually a member of the APC or other face-plated pretending to be opposition party.
We are not denying any of pains in Kogi state as managedly listed or mentioned by him, but to call our party deaf and dumb is to endorse Yahaya Bello and APC and his allied pretending parties, which we can clearly see beyond and which any responsible and sensitive human being with a working brain can also see beyond.
Ordinarily, the Media and Communications would have ignored this, as the write up failed to present facts to the call out the PDP but self serving and deeply toned in personal interest against the party.
If the writer has anyone he or she is trying to enthrone or wish to get to any political office through the PDP and has failed before the primaries, or fears PDP will stop as endorsed by the APC, it is not because of the party but the failure of such person to convince his or her constituents and we humbly advice him or her not to give up yet.
We enjoin Jacob Unekwu Agada not to face the PDP but the APC and the dirty dealings of Yahaya Bello and together we make the state a better place to be.
We also like to remind him to come home, dust his voters card, if he has one, if not immediately get registered, raise a movement or join one and cast his votes on Kogi soil, as dispora-accusation will heal no wound and solve no brouhaha. We love Unekwu Agada and say God bless you.
We wish to remind the writer and those who may share his position that, just recently at the celebration of Easter, we still issued a statement and the PDP today is the party to beat as even the ruling APC was not bold enough to conduct a mere LG Election but took to writing results, which today it has not even released almost two years after the said “conjecture”, sadly enough due to none conduct of any election.
We keep imploring Kogi sons and daughters as well as residents to keep praying, mobilizing and get ready to flush the APC out of all structures of leadership in Nigeria come 2023.
