This is the third of this tyro writer’s articles, deliberately vilifying and unconscionably trying to provoke Alh. Jibrin Isah Echocho and his camp to anger of rhetoric. His two articles reeking of ignorance and inanity were ignored because the writer himself is not only jejune but is also too inconsequential to be paid any meaty attention. The need to respond to this particular article becomes imperative because I am well aware of the side of the divide he is talking from, and leaving him at this time without responding to his gibberish will only project Echocho and his camp as weaklings. Silence is golden, but not when it involves placing a vacuous person in his right place.

I would like to unequivocally state clearly here that Echocho is a hallmark. This assertion, extolling his personality, is held without a shred of fictive imagination and prejudice. He is unequalled, and his legacies and records of achievement are palpable.

As we have said times without number, Echocho is a charismatic politician whose equals in politics and political exercise in terms of grassroots connections and support at the level he is currently seeking, the senatorial seat, has not been birthed. A senatorial candidate that can match Echocho’s colossal political weight has yet to be produced by the Igala/Bassa region.

I view with complacency that the sweetest fruit always has a torrent of stones hauled at it. The name-calling and negative criticisms on Echocho’s person are a further endorsement of the fact that he is a sweetest giant without rival.Long before he joined the political world, Echocho had laid the symbolic wreath of generosity that whatever the people see move around Echocho today is a replay of what beautiful tomorrow he had created yesterday.

On those that have been singing the deathless jeremiad that Echocho pitches his tent with the enemy of the state, Governor Yahaya Bello, and by extension promotes bad governance are living in attention-seeking malady. If Echocho believes in subjecting people to untold hardship, if he believes in feeding himself and leaving others hungry, if he believes in greed and in dehumanisation, he would not have parted with his hard-earned money to help humanity.

If Echocho were a closed-circuit politician, he would have limited his hand of fellowship to those of his family, his community and of his faith. His generosity was extensive and expansive, cutting across religious affiliation, tribe and geography.

Till today, Echocho still meets the needs of those around him. No greater leader surpasses Echocho, the man who lays down his life for the lives of his kinsmen (to quote a Holy Writ)!

John Paul tries to stir the hornets by writing abusive posts in order to enjoy the popularity that would emanate from his writings. This camp is focused and it is consolidating its gains on the political scene. No amount of distraction will ever shriek this camp of its focus and desire to please its conscience by presenting a candidate that will make a difference as a senator representing Kogi East and will eventually be beneficial to all.

The enemies of Igala land who have been fighting hard to see the land remain perpetually underdeveloped will come thanking us tomorrow when Echocho begins to pour the torrent of rain of human and capital development on the people and the land. His name, Echocho, which literary typifies the bucketing of the rain, will come alive in no distant time, and will be beneficial to all and sundry. It is only a blind, bland and an envious man that will look at Echocho in the face and question his humanity. Echocho is a movement and a household name. He is intelligence personified, a creative person, a compassionate leader and a deus ex machinato many.

The nature of politics in Igalaland is a retrogressive one: the politics that idolises money and shuts its doors to enduring legacies. Many Igala political servants prize first and foremost money and personal gains and greed before humanity and conscience. This is why the region remains largely underdeveloped and poor. Whatever does not fill their hunger and immediate desire is an enemy and it is not good. Only the sage though can separate the sheep from the goats.

I will not waste time to do a line-by-line analysis of this writer’s pathetic article because the major part of the writing was wasted on codswallop. This writer went haywire with a catchy headline that one thought would breed appreciable offspring. He ended up writing flatulent article with no single sense of direction. If Echocho does not represent humanity, according this hack and hired writer, who then does? No name was given! This writer, John Paul, is a supporter of an afternoon politician whose legacies are only manufactured online by e-minions with no tangibility. A politician who intends to represent the people has no record of a single human and capital legacy to his credit except the hungry political merchants who fall head over heels to patch up his failing and flaccid reputation. Such a group does not bear any faintest attention.
