RCCG National Overseer, Pastor Obayemi Task Christians In Kogi On Righteousness

Christians in Kogi State have been charged to embrace righteous living as it is a guarantee to enjoying God’s anointing for grace that brings uncommon favour.
The National Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Nigeria, Pastor Obayemi Joseph, made this disclosure at a Special Anointing Service, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kogi Province 3.
The Clergy man who was also in the state to inaugurate the Redeemer’s Men Fellowship, preached on a message titled, ‘Anointing For Grace’. He urged Christians to strive for grace to enable them enjoy unstoppable pleasures and riches from God that they do not deserve.
Pastor Obayemi appealed to believers to run away from all forms of sin, pointing out that the grace of God does not come freely and would not work where sin abound.
The man of God pointed out that the standard of God regarding grace is higher than what it is under the law. He said, “when grace is abused, it truncates the plan God has in the life of his people.”
Pastor Obayemi described Grace as an enabler which usually come when God’s anointing is upon believers, adding that grace help make things happen quickly in the lives of God’s people as well as enable them reach their destination faster.
The National overseer, who took his text from the Bible, in Psalms 89, appealed to adherents of Christian faith to seek for his anointing, noting that it removes barriers, allows believers have a voice,  removes obstacles, as well as deliver God’s favour and help.
He prayed to God to change the situation in Nigeria for good and for Kogi State to witness uncommon change and prosperity, noting that pleasurable living, good life and inheritance is God’s plan for those who commit themselves wholeheartedly to his command and abstain from sin.
Earlier in their remarks, Pastor Boniface Okenwa, Pastor in charge Region 24, and Pastor Emmanuel Uroupagha, Pastor in charge Kogi Province 3, described the visit of the National Overseer to the state as timely, coming at a time when believers are yearning for God’s Grace, anointing for increase, prosperity and the realization of God’s plan upon their lives.
Highlights at the Special Anointing Service were prayers for faithfuls, the State and Nigeria in general. Other important aspects of the service was prophetic declaration, anointing of worshipers and the inauguration of the Kogi State Chapter of the Redeemers Men’s Fellowship by the National Overseer.
The Special Anointing Service, which drew worshipers from within and outside the state, had the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike and other top government functionaries in attendance.
