Head Coach of Nigeria National League, NNL side, Kogi United, Abdullahi Biffo has described his side’s 0-2 defeat to Ranchers Bees as unacceptable just as he advocate the need for proper monitoring of league games.

All efforts for Kogi United to reduce the deficit were denied by officiating officials and the Wada Boys were later reduced to 10 men after Tanko Joseph was given a marching order for complaining the referee’s call.

Coach Biffo who stated this while speaking with sports writers in Kaduna after the Week 17 encounter noted that his boys lost to unjustifiable officiating, adding that proper supervision by an unidentified body directed by the league body would help to sanitize the league and check officials’ wrongs call at games.

“This is unacceptable, we cannot say we lost this match because we didn’t play well, its just that we were not allow to play, that’s what gave them(Ranchers) the confidence because they knew anything they do will be allowed, its unfortunate the win at all cost syndrome still continue, its affecting us, and the earlier the league body checked that, the better, we need a secret league supervisors that can help to monitor matches and of course referees who always deny away teams chance to play,” said Biffo.

The former Giwa FC handler however expressed optimism of maximum victory in their next match against Kwara United next weekend.

“Yes, its a huge game and a must win for us, we need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible, and I’m confidently saying it that Kwara United will go back home the way the come next saturday,” Biffo concluded.
