Ramadan: United Labour Congress Congratulates Muslim Faithfuls

The United Labour Congress (ULC), Kogi State Chapter, has called on Muslim faithfuls to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray against the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement issued by the state chairman of ULC, Opaluwa Eleojo, the labour union congratulated the entire Muslim community in Nigeria and Kogi state for seeing another Holy month of Ramadan.

“It is our sincere wish that this month of Ramadan shall usher in, a new order in our state and nation at large, where justice, respect for the rule of law, love,  peace and tranquility shall reign supreme.

“We urge the Muslim community to pray very hard against the dreaded COVID-19, that is ravaging the entire world, and asking the God of peace, to reveal to his children, the most appropriate vaccine against the scourge.

“It is our prayer, that we shall all see the end of the month and beyond,” he said.
