Kogi state born song writer and singer, Abdullahi Yahaya has charged all Muslims in Nigeria and beyond to use the  remaining Ramadan fasting days to create harmony with other citizens in the country.

In a message, Yahaya, popularly known on stage as ‘Young Tizee’, said Islam is a religion of peace that upholds the values of tolerance and mutual coexistence without a place for hatred and violence.

He, therefore, urged Muslims to use the period to build a relationship of friendship and harmony with fellow citizens.

Baby girl singer prayed to Allah for the continued peace, progress, and the wellbeing of the country while embracing and practising the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

According to him, Ramadan is a period of reconnecting back to Allah, as he says Islam teaches peace and peaceful coexistence amongst one another.

He, therefore, urge all Muslim brothers and sisters, as Ramadan ends, to seize the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with Allah.

”Ramadan is a period of repentance, forgiveness and as such we must make out time to strengthen our relationship with Allah, by asking for his forgiveness and mercy,” he said.

He admonished all Muslims and Nigerians, in general, to be united “because lack of unity amongst one another in the country continues to cause a setback to the socio-economic prosperity of the nation.”
