Ramadan: Idris King Donates Food Stuff to Constituents

A former House of Representatives member (Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency), Hon. Abdulaziz Idris King has donated food items worth thousands of Naira to the less privileged in his constituent to cushion the economic hardship during the holy month of Ramadan.

The former lawmaker said he decided to give the little he has to the needy as part of his efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people in the area.

He promised that he will do his possible best by contributing his quota towards alleviating the sufferings of his people, stressing further that; “you don’t have to be in a government apoointee or in an elective position before assisting the common man in the street.”

“I will do everything within my power to ensure that at every point in time I give the society some succour.”

He commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for sustaining the peaceful atmosphere in Kogi state and urged all Kogites, irrespective of political affiliations, to support him order to attract positive development to the entire state.

According to him; “the Governor has done a lot in the area of security, road construction, rehabilitation of water works, renovation of dilapidated primary schools across the three senatorial district.

“We need to support the Governor’s second term bid to enable him complete the ongoing projects in the state.”

He appealed to the aggrieved members of the ruling APC to remain calm and give their support to the Governor for the overall interest of the party.
