The member representing Ankpa II constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Alfa Momoh Rabiu has commiserate with the people of his constituency over the demise of a former paramount ruler, Alhaji Mohammed Alfa.
The lawmaker who joined hundreds for the funeral rites of the late and “one time” Onu-Ojoku described death as the will of Allah urging the bereaved family, friends and well wishers of the deceased to accept his demise in good faith.
Admonishing further, Hon Rabiu charged the people to be mindful of death which he opined to as a destroyer of pleasure.
In his words, “death can come anytime and in any form but irrespective of however it occurs, it is always from Allah. That death is a destroyer of pleasure, times like this calls for reflection among we the living and may God put a stop to the spree of death in our land.”
The lawmaker thereafter prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Alhaji Mohammed Alfa and prayed God to comfort his household, grant his family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and admit him into the garden of delight.
