Our attention has been drawn to a purported directionless and reckless experiment called Okun Youth meeting where some unknown Okun youth were said to have allegedly backed the supplementary Gov-elect of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
I wish to categorically state that the opinion or choice of the said group named Conference of Okun Youth Leaders do not in anyway represent the interest of Okun Youth in anyway but the selfish interest of some reckless selected few who can be categorized as Okun traitors and Yam seekers.
I wish to also reiterate that Okun Youth Leaders Forum remain the only Youth body which represent the general interest of Okun youth body home and abroad as evident in her activities over time.
We therefore as a matter of necessity dissociate ourselves from any frivolous and Yam seeking groups whose aim is to further cause more division in Okun land. The Okun youth in general as of today remain steadfast in our resolve to stand by Audu/Faleke God-Given mandate.
We therefore urge all well meaning Okun Youth to remain steadfast and committed to the struggle of reclaiming our mandate via the court of law.
