The Deputy Zonal Director, Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Humanitarian-Social (North-Central), Hon (Prince) Abdulkareem Suleiman Onyekehi, has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his victory at the February 25 Presidential election.
The Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, on Wednesday declared Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of February 25 presidential election.
Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat his major rivals; Atiku Abubakar of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 6,984,520 votes , and Peter Obi of Labour Party who secured 6,101,533 votes of the 24,965,218 total vote cast.
In a statement on Thursday in Lokoja, Prince Onyekehi, congratulated Tinubu saying his victory was a well deserved one, while urging him to give opportunity to experienced and intelligent youths in his cabinets.
Onyekehi, who is the Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, on Special Projects enjoined the President-Elect to urgently restore sanity to the nation, reverse and restructure CBN cashless policy and solve the lingering fuel scarcity.
The deputy zonal director also called on the President-elect to build on President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacies that was almost thwarted by some unpatriotic elements
According to him, digital economy is the future but it takes a gradual process with appropriate measures in this part of the world.
Onyekehi also lauded Governor Yahaya Bello, Governor El-‘Rufai and other Progressive Governors and Lawmakers for speaking out and disabusing the minds of Nigerian masses against the administration of All Progressives Congress.
Onyekehi, who is also the Focal Person, National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in Kogi, commend APC supporters and NSIP beneficiaries for demonstrating their loyalty by given massive votes to Tinubu.
The deputy zonal director assured the people that Tinubu’s led government would make Nigeria work for all irrespective of tribes, religions, regions or political affiliations.
He expressed optimism that the President-elect would expand the social intervention programmes and and create more empowerment initiatives for poverty eradication.
Pince Onyekehi further commended the National Director of Humanitarian-Social Directorate, Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Hajia Halima Shehu, for her hardwork, passion, leadership and coordination and all members of Humanitarian directorates for collective success.
