The Asiwaju of Ayere Kingdom and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji, has supported the Odo-Ape and Aiyetoro-Gbede Communities in Kabba/Bunu and Ijumu Local Government Areas of Kogi State with generous donations to celebrate their festival day respectively.
The renowned philanthropist was represented at the well-attended event in Odo-Ape by veteran journalist and publisher, Chief Olugbemi Femi, while the APC chairman in Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Oyewole Solomon, represented him in Aiyetoro-Gbede.
In his speech, Prince Olusoji emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in driving positive change and building a brighter future for the community. He also welcomed visitors and encouraged everyone to celebrate with joy, embracing the community’s vibrant culture and hospitality.

The renowned philanthropist said he decided to support the Odo Ape and Aiyetoro-Gbede communities’ festival day celebrations due to his commitment to Okunland’s development, noting that such events showcase the people’s rich cultural heritage.
The Odo Ape Bunu Day celebration is a testament to the community’s resilience and dedication to preserving their heritage.
The event brought together distinguished guests, including a representative of the Kogi State Government, Mrs. Ayoade Arike Folashade, esteemed leaders, and community members, to commemorate the rich cultural heritage and progress of the Odo Ape community.
