A philanthropist, Prince Elijah Ibinayin has made funds available for the payment West African Examination Council (WAEC) registration fees for all senior secondary (SS3) students studying at Kabba Community Secondary School, Kakun.

Ibinayin, popularly known as Erukutu, made the generous donation for the payment of WAEC fees through the Kabba Community High School Alumni Association on Monday.

Receiving the bank draft of N325,000 on behalf of the students, the school Principal, Mr. Matthew Arokoyo Medaiyedu, commended Prince Ibinayin for his generous donation.

Medaiyedu stated that Ibinayin has brought relief to parents of benefiting students. He noted that it takes a man who knows the value of education to return to his Alma Mata, after years of graduation, and give back generously.

He prayed to God to grant Ibinayin long life and prosperity.

Speaking with Kogi Reports after the donation, a fellow alumnus of the school, Engr. Matthew Ajigi praised Ibinayin for his generosity. He noted that the N325,000 donation by Ibinayin was for both WAEC fees and administrative charges for all the students.

He explained that they graduated from Kabba Community High School Okedayo several years ago before the school was relocated to Kakun.

Ajigi called on other alumni of the school to contribute their quota to ensure their alma mata becomes the centre of academic excellence.

Prince Elijah Ibinayi graduated from Kabba Community High School Kakun (formerly in Okedayo) in 1990 before his sojourn for greener pastures in the United States of America.
