Ahead of the February 23 rescheduled Presidential and National Assembly elections, a call has gone to electorates in Kogi state to come out en-mass and vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates.
The coordinator, Kogi State Women/Youth committee, Buhari/Osibanjo presidential campaign council, Hon Abdulaziz Idris King made the call in a statement issued in Lokoja on Tuesday.
Idris King stated that President Buhari remains the candidate to beat in the election based on his colossal achievements in the past four years.
“President Buhari has not only moved the country to greater heights, he has laid foundation for greater Nigeria,” he said.
The former lawmaker commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his ingenuity and pragmatic steps in handing the challenges in the state.
He noted that the Governor deserves full support and prayers.
Hon. Idris King appealed to the electorate in the state to be peaceful, shunning all forms of vices before, during and after the elections.
