Postponed Elections: We Shall Continue to Hold The Fort – Victor Adoji

The level of terror that has been unleashed on anyone considered to be in opposition has reached Olympian heights and there is no sign of either restrain or relief. Quite unusually but through to expectation, our traducers who are also the promoters of the violence have looked away while “Rome burns”.

Just yesterday, the arsonists had a field-day burning houses and properties. The icing on their cake was the killing of two people.

The main purpose, as rumored, is to send shivers down the spine of anyone who doesn’t support their crumbling empire but, I assure you, the chicken is coming home to roost, before long.

I deeply empathize with those who have lost anyone or anything and pray that in the end those who ride on the Tiger end-up in its stomach.

That said, the rescheduling of the elections creates more leg-room and gives us more confidence that we are coasting home to a resounding victory: it happened in 2011 and 2015 and the ruling governments at those times got the short-end of the stick after hoping a rescheduling would create some ‘tail-winds’ for them.

Finally, while thanking you for your steadfastness and sacrifices, I assure you of my imperturbable commitment to the evolving renaissance which will berth the communion that is both the driver and sub-structure of our Igalaness.

I pray God to continually bless us all.
