Natasha Akpoti Campaign Organisation (NACO) has alleged that Kogi APC is currently planning to indict the SDP senatorial candidate for Kogi Central, Barr. Natasha Akpoti as their next move after several failed attempt to bring her down.

This was made known by Muhammed Sadiku, Director General Natasha Akpoti Campaign Organisation in a press statement on Monday.

Natasha Akpoti Campaign organisation alleged that, in further demonstration of undemocratic tactics Kogi APC has chosen to force Alh. Yakubu Oseni, the anointed candidate of the state governor on the good people of Kogi Central, the next move is to arrange some impostors and tell them to say that Barr. Natasha Akpoti is sponsoring them and has given them arms to forment political unrest in Ebiraland.

“Our candidate is a legal luminary and has been suing for peace even in the face of constant attack and the killing of one of her supporters.

“Her ways didn’t condone thuggery but instead of Kogi APC  to sell her candidate to the good people of Kogi Central base on their manifesto, they have chosen the path of thuggery and constant blackmail of our candidate.

“The good people of Kogi Central know who is behind the renewed political thuggery in Ebiraland and the public should be aware of the latest evil plan against Natasha Akpoti and disregard any video or publications promoting such political mischief.

“Their aim is to get some prisoners on trial and force them to say that Barr. Natasha gave them arms to be causing problems in Ebiraland to further promotote their evil plan.

“Natasha Campaign Organisation believe Kogi Central has grown beyond this dirty politics, Nigeria constitution gives room for opposition party, we don’t know why the current state government has chosen to make the state one party system at all cost and using every available means to hack supporters and candidates of opposition parties down, ” the campaign organisation said.
