The acting divisional chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Dekina local government area, Alh. Ibrahim Hussein Ejini has assured members of his commitment to ensure the party emerge victorious in the November 2 governorship election in the state.
He gave the assurances at the enlarged caucus meeting of the party in Abuja on Friday where his position was affirmed by the state executive council of PDP.
He thanked the stakeholders of the party from Dekina local government for the confidence reposed in him to have considered him to take up the revered position of the Divisional Chairman of the party at a time where commitment and dedication is needed to reposition the party.
“I shall not disappoint the members and stakeholders of our party who have seen me worthy. I promise them victory for our great party in the November election.
“The APC led government of Kogi State has failed the people of the state woefully. The people are yearning for a progressive and people oriented government to salvage them from the maladministration witnessed over the last three years. PDP is here to save the situation and provide the much needed people oriented leadership,” he said.

Alhaji Ibrahim Hussein Ejini was appointed Divisional Chairman of PDP following the suspension of Sani Umoru on the allegations of embezzlement, fraud and anti party activities.
