Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has commended the Ahmed Makarfi-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the successful conduct of non-elective convention.
Speaking in Abuja after the convention, Aidoko said the success achieved at the convention is a pointer to achieving greater success.
He expressed confidence in the PDP leadership’s ability to return the party to victory in 2019. He noted that the ongoing reconciliation, re-organisation and realignment in party is yielding positive results, showing a resolute determination to win 2019 elections.
The Federal lawmaker urged warring factions within the party to embrace peace and co-operate with the new leadership to salvage the country from the present situation which need urgent attention.
