PASAN Passes Vote of Confidence on Kogi Assembly Clerk, Ahmed Chogudo

Members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), Kogi State House of Assembly Chapter, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Clerk of the House and Head of Legislative Services, Alhaji Ahmed Sule Chogudo.

This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to pressmen in Lokoja by the Deputy Clerk Administration and General Services, Aka Adebayo Michael.

According to the statement, the vote of confidence became imperative in view of the priority  which Alhaji Ahmed Chogudo gave to staff welfare.

At the meeting of members of PASAN which took place on the premises of Kogi State House of Assembly, the Deputy Clerk of the House, Ndagi Alfa disclosed that for a very long time there was no management meetings where major decisions concerning staff matters were taken but Chogudo reinstated  management meeting which takes place monthly.

Ndagi also praised the Clerk for working tirelessly to ensure that two other Deputy Clerks were created to give room for more staff to rise to the heights of their career.

While adding that the Clerk has  ensured that due allowances befitting legislative staff are given to them,he added that since the Clerk assumed office, staff have been enjoying the use of staff bus to and fro work even with subsidy removal.

Other staff members who spoke in support of the good works of Chogudo are the PASAN Chairman Kogi chapter, Salihu Oganza, his Secretary, Alh Jiya and the Head of Environment Department, Samuel Toluyemi.

The statement revealed that the Congress unanimously passed a vote of confidence on  Chogudo Ahmed, pointing out that he has surpassed his predecessors in office in view of his accessibility and achievements in office
