The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammed, has expressed joy on the emergence of the former auditor-general for local governments, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo as the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress for the November governorship election in Kogi State.
The Chairman’s joy was contained in a congratulatory message to Hon. Usman Ododo on his overwhelming victory at the just concluded APC governorship primaries.
Abdulrazaq said, the acceptance of Alh. Usman Ododo as the party’s flag bearer by majority of our party men and women was a true reflection of his unique characters of absolute loyalty, competency, diligence and intellectual endowment.
Therefore, as the candidate of the ruling party, the chairman believe Ododo’s victory at the poll in November, 2023 will be an easy ride considering his outstanding roles, uncommon display of progressive ideas and immense contributions to the successes of the New Direction Administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
While praising Gov. Yahaya Bello for putting up a formidable system that produced Usman Ahmed Ododo as a worthy successor, Engr. Abdulrazaq believe the party’s flag bearer has shown enough capacity to consolidate on the achievements of his administration and further unite the people of Kogi State.
On behalf of the good people Okene Local Government, the Council Chairman congratulate Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his emergency as APC governorship candidate and further assure him of the council’s total support to win the November 11 governorship election.
