The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has extended formal congratulations to his counterpart at Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, as Ibileye marks his 60th birthday.
Prof. Usman, who conveyed the message on behalf of the university’s Governing Council, Senate, management, staff and students, described the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate not only a significant personal milestone but also a career defined by scholarly distinction.
“Sir, today presents a unique opportunity to celebrate not only your attainment of the Diamond Age but also your remarkable accomplishments as a distinguished scholar and visionary leader whose contributions to higher education continue to inspire many,” Usman said in the tribute message.

The PAAU helmsman noted that Ibileye’s life had come to represent excellence, dedication and an uncommon commitment to the advancement of knowledge.
Since assuming the office of Vice-Chancellor at Federal University Lokoja, Ibileye has been credited with advancing academic standards, driving institutional growth and promoting a culture of innovation within the university system.
Usman wished his colleague continued good health, greater wisdom and renewed strength, expressing hope that the birthday celebrant would render many more years of productive service to the nation’s higher education sector.
“Once again, on behalf of the entire Prince Abubakar Audu University community, I congratulate you on your 60th Birthday and wish you many more years of outstanding accomplishments,” Usman said.
