The Alumni Association of Kogi state-owned university has commended the State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello for renaming the institution to Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU)
In statement signed by the National Organizing Secretary, Comrade Okeme Y . Okeme said the move was in the right direction as it would immortalize the name of the founder, late Prince Abubakar Audu.
He said the decision was worthy of commendation as it goes further to show that the governor is a detribalized and focused leader.
Comrade Okeme called on the people to continue to support the state government for more developmental projects across the state.
