A front line member of the All progressive Congress, APC, in Kogi state, Muktar Bajeh has described the present criticism against the state Governor, some members of the party as not only self serving but mischievous.
Bajeh who stated this yesterday in Lokoja while addressing journalists, noted that as people who has benefited immensely from the generosity of the Bello, ever before becoming the governor, these group of persons should be the last to cast stone on him.
Bajeh who is one of the leading candidate in the race for the chairmanship of Okehi Local government area, called on such members to retrace their steps in order not to incur the wrought of God
He however called on the governor not to be distracted by the noise of people he described as anti- development agents, saying that the steps taken so far by the governor to re position the state are commendable
According to him the dilapidated Lokoja township roads are already wearing new looks in just two months in office, adding that the ongoing staff verification is another step aimed at stamping out corruption from the civil service
He called on the people and the APC in the state to support the governor in his task of building an enduring legacy for the people of the state
On his ambition, Bajeh promised to take Okehi LGA to higher level through the provision of critical infrastructure which he said was currently lacking if he eventually clinch the ticket.
