A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi has applauded the appointment of the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI).
Meseko’s appointment was announced on Friday in a State House press release signed by Bayo Ononuga.
Reacting to the announcement, Otunba Olayemi described the appointment of Meseko as well deserved.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Friday, Otunba Olayemi expressed confidence in Hon. Meseko’s capacity to steer the wheel of the institute given his proven hands-on experience.
He noted that Hon Meseko has shown undoubted competence in several leadership positions over the years and will bring this to bare in his new assignment by formulating and implementing cutting edge solutions to improve the nation’s infreastructure.
He urged him to see the opportunity as a call to service and also to justify the confidence reposed in him by President Bola Tinubu and other stakeholders who facilitate the well deserved appointment.
NBRRI is responsible for conducting research and development in the areas of building materials, construction techniques, and road engineering, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the nation’s infrastructure
