Organizers of the 2021 Ebira Carnival have promised that the 11th edition of the annual event will build on successes of previous editions and ensure rich cultural experience for residents and tourists.
In a statement issued by the National Coordinator of Ebira Carnival, Suberu Onimisi Nusa, said this year’s event will be more colourful and promises to be a showcase of cultural excellence.
According to Suberu, the pre-carnival picnic will take place in Okunchi, in Adavi LGA, while the street parade will start from the Okene waterworks through GRA to the Grand Command Reception venue.
He added that the grand command reception will hold at the public field, opposite Dabras Hotels.
“Preparation for the 11th Edition of the Carnival has begun. This year Carnival is coming with a lot of modification and its uniqueness, as we keep progressing and celebrating.
“The 11th Edition will showcase our rich cultural heritage and bring together the good people of Ebiraland, both home and in diaspora. This year’s event promises to be a blast.
“Ebiraland has become an annual destination for tourists, the last eleven years, with the support of all, has changed our sociocultural landscape,” he said.
