APC victory in Ekiti election has no direct bearing on the performance of  PDP led Fayose administration. It shows real freedom is not something to be acquired, it is the outcome of dubious, malicious, do or die intelligence . PDP must wake up to this bazaar of intelligence where the highest bidder takes the commodity. Marketing has come into politics which is a topic for another day.

The fall of Fayose is blamed on non payment of workers salary for 8 months which has subjected the people to abject penury. Time shall tell whether it is true or not. Because there were alleged irregularities in the conduct of the election. Similarly, Civil Servant in Kogi State must know that they own Kogi 2019 as well. Even if you are forcefully retired, on clear or unclear list, pardon or retrenched list the office of the Governor belongs to you Everybody must stand tall against political demagogue and emancipate  themselves from mental slavery or any form of psychological torture meted out to them ranging from delay in payment, unlawful yanking of workers money to 0%, clock in clock out without commensurate job security and so on.

A Civil Servant is a disciple who renders service to God and the nation at large. An attempted attempt to deny them of their privileges is as good as sabotaging the work of God. The leadership of any government that has no faith the civil service is inevitably a less effective one. In fact, no investor in the area of Agriculture for instance can achieve commensurate return on investment without the finest public servant working for it from the level of research, marketing signal and purchasing power of the people. It is true some people forged their result to be employed as Civil Servant. Wisdom demands that their employer should be blamedor made to face justice followed by how many times they were queried for negligenceor suspended. Besides a palliative measure to cushion the negative effect of retrenchment or termination of appointment must be put in place. Many of them are bread winners in their respective home, sacking anyone without considering that aspect is ungodly and does not correlate with a society that valued democracy.

Mental slavery is the worst form of slavery. It gives you the illusion of freedom. It makes you trust, love and even, defend your oppressor. And at the same time making enemy of those who are trying to free you or open your eyes. We must look beyond partisan politics of trying to find bad character. And try to find a saint, the kind of people who can work together and make a difference for everyone. PDP must wake up to the secret, technical, technological-driven intelligence sneaking like a snipers to alter popular vote or opinion during elections.

Kogi State House of Assembly Lawmaker representing Igalamela/Odolu LG, Elder Friday Sani Paul (Makama), rightly said, “Our people must take lesson from integrity display of Okun people on the issue of Senator Dino Melaye where the people stood tall against the use of stolen money to subvert the mandate of the people

“the workers future in Nigeria remain very bright if only the workers are ready to emancipate “self”. My consolation message for our suffering workers in Kogi State is that we must ensure that , democratic power currently stolen by military dictatorial tendency must be rescued back to the owners and believers of democracy.”
