Your Excellency, I refuse to join the legions of Kogites who wish you never recover. At this trying moment in your life, I wish you God’s healing and speedy recovery. I will never play politics with someone else’s health let alone wishing that person death. I have an obligatory option to wish you well and pray for you. Get well soon and get back to work.
Having said that, I wish to draw your attention to few things. Spraying of money to people on the street is now obsolete in modern politics. Monies are most often sprayed in Nigerian politics where leaders have institutionalized mediocrity and the masses embrace that because they have been denied access to good governance.
Now that you cannot move around freely because of your accident, use this period to have a sober reflection about your performance so far. Perhaps God wants you to have a retreat and learn few things from this event as you pilot the Statecraft.
Through your accident, God wants you to feel the pains of many Kogites who have no hope of eating three times in a day. The pains of families whose lives are laced with hunger, disappointment and anguish. God also wants you to feel the pains of teachers/lecturers whose due wages are denied and cannot provide for their families and those who are dependent of them. I see you struggling to walk but think of families that have been paralyzed economically because salaries are not paid. By the time you recover fully, we hope to see a “Born again” governor who will be sensitive to the plight of the masses.
God bless and heal you..
