My fellow Students, I think it is high time we fight for our right. If we decide to fold our arms on this lingering strike, Things will keep deteriorating….ASUU and Kogi State Govt, have Successfully placed a logjam on our academic session of which we know the implications of this.
Several students have turn Social media to center of expressing grievances but still, our voices have not been heard. It’s a pity that non of our stakeholders in the state take cognizance of what’s happening to our life rather they decided to stay mute and watch our leaders (ASUU and Government) playing games with our futures.
If writing is the only solution to this industrial action, I will write, write and write. Some students are saying I should mind my approach against the Government to avoid story touch…But if that is the only thing that will end me up in a jail, then I’ll keep doing this and promulgate our leaders in the state for people outside the state to come for our rescue.
It’s with pain and aggravate dissatisfaction writing this to the concerned citizens in the state. I keep wondering where the Government and Egocentric ASUU are leading us to….
As a saying goes”When the unrighteous ones are suffering, the righteous ones will pay part in the extreme suffering” this is what is actually happening to us….At the end of the day, Lecturers will be paid while Government remains intact. So therefore, what shall it profit we the penurious students? After spending 100days at home and still counting.
The possible solution as a student, The ongoing JAMB Examination is a great opportunity for us to exhibit our grief, aggravate towards the Federal Government to put things into consideration.
We are rational human being, the mission is not to hurt our younger ones writing the exam but for the Government to come to our rescue while seeing the dissatisfaction.
JAMB officials will surely make provision for the action taken towards their candidates. It is not possible for them to let the issue pass by.
We need to act fast on this issue my fellow colleagues.
On this note, I’m pleading to all our students out there to be around this week as jamb examination will be going to an end on Saturday.
Let’s plan for our futures before the future plans for us.
Together we can do this.
Let’s keep the struggle continues against all Odds.
