Little wonder how some groups in Kogi State kept throwing shade over a pathetic and selfish leader. In the event that all this while, the greedy supporters have been ignorant, let it be resounding once again that the Governor took until a year to finish up screening of Civil Servants. Even a child newly birthed will not misuse so much precious time screening his/her mother’s breast.

Not minding all atrocities and life wrecking games played during the initial stage of the screening, we thank God the so called screening has ended. But then, an ultimate question set in- ‘to what end?’ The frank line is that the screening has no purpose and has achieved nothing.

Many were once die-hard supporters of this Administration but along the line, they have all lost confidence in the Administration. The Governor is so stubborn that he sees all criticism as a challenge for a fight. This made me remember my Secondary School Teacher who knows nothing but gets angry when he is corrected. Unfortunately he got embarrassed on a National Television Station when he repeated similar mistake. Today, he has no name to be remembered. I am no prophet, but I am optimistic that similar fate will be shared by our proud Governor.

A lot have been said about the proud Governor within and outside Nigeria. He is been called names, but he is used to them just like a dog is inclined to bone picking. Mr. Governor, if you continue this way, your end will be regretful to you. Though, I know you feel no remorse, but your end will be like a painful skin disease, irrespective of what consequences it is.

The guiding truth to this purposeless screening would have been-

‘If the purpose of this screening will take lives, then it has to be stopped. If it will yield no acceptable result, then strategy need to be changed. If it will injure the innocent, then a protective measure must be adopted’.

Instead of the above, the Governor and his cohorts wickedly used the below guide-

‘If this screening takes lives, move on with it. If it yields no acceptable result, then we shall pretend that strategy has been changed. If it will affect the innocent, then so be it’.

Between the first and second guiding words, the Governor obviously chose the second line. Is that not wickedness that has no bound? Mr. Governor, please you can still use the second guiding words. Reverse all resolve of the purposeless screening and do the needful.

Children have lost their parents due to this screening, parents are no longer living up to their responsibilities, and children can no longer attend school. Mr. Governor, we still plead that you consider this as utmost, and define well the bright future of kogites’.

However Mr. Governor, I am tempted to ask; was going to Mecca every now and then part of plan to dehumanize kogites? If it is, then you better visit your masquerades in Ebira land for spiritual touch and never attempt the Holy Land, otherwise you may receive helpless and corrective divine touch. I guess you will never want that. So please, we plead that you do the needful.

TO THE SUPPORTERS

I have noticed of fact that those supporting and even ready to lay lives for the Governor are:

  1. Those who may not have gained anything from the present Administration, but due to sentiments, they hold on to bad rubbish.
  2. Those who are ultimately gaining peanut from the present administration. However, these people cannot live up to God’s purpose because they have sold their lives to the devil.
  3. Those who belong to nobody but belong to somebody. These sets deceive themselves to the brim.

The truth about the above categories of supporters is that they live within their mouth. They are local champion who will never read situations beyond their nose. It is my hope and prayer that after today; you will stand to your conscience. Define your position and give it a meaning- I am quite ashamed of you all.

TO THE COHORTS

Remember someday, power will cease, and you will be left alone. I guess you will be bold to do what you are doing now. I am sure by then, you must have ran away in shame. Ultimately, will God forgive you?

TO THE TRUE KOGITES

Let us be hopeful. God cannot forget us like this.
