Ankpa as a whole, most especially the youths demand of Ankpa I constituency deserve an immediate apology from Hon. Mohammed Ahmed, the unfortunate, mandate-less State House of Assembly member representing Ankpa I.

Just as defection to another political party is a fundamental right of any lawmaker and natural in the Nigerian political landscape, so also is protest against such defection natural and part of the peoples’ fundamental human right.
What is most unfortunate in the scenario is the action of the chief media aide to Ahmed, Prince Tijani Yusuf, who came out openly to insult the youths of Ankpa by calling them names like; foolish, brainwashed, callous etc just because they exercised their fundamental human rights. It is very unfortunate that the so-called emergency baked media have sold his conscience and political ideology on a platter of few naira notes, just as his boss. Ahmed Ahmed defected to a political party where he was not welcomed by the state chapter of the party just because of 10 million naira as alleged in some quarters.
Instead of insulting the youths of Ankpa I, I expected you to have told your boss that he ought to be serious with government and governance, rather than engaging in mere e-media propaganda, where project are conceived, awarded and commissioned on Facebook, while the reality on ground is that there is nothing to show.
Instead of insulting us, why not ask you boss what he has done with the constituency allowance he has collected for the past one year. Why not tell him that instead of embezzling the constituency allowances meant for the poor and development of Ankpa I, he should use it to fight hunger, the poverty and environmental degradation that has romanced the people and landscape of the constituency.
Instead of telling your so-called Honourable the truth you came out openly to insult us publicly in other to get few naira notes from him. You have proven to us that you value few naira notes than the development of Ankpa I and trust the youths of Ankpa I, they shall pay you and your boss, who was a product of a corrupt judicial decision and not the product of a healthy political romance between the peoples’ voter card and their elected representative.
Hon. Ahmed Mohamed can not even win a ward councilor election in Ankpa, but for the sake of judicial manipulations he became a member of the state assembly.
Instead of you to as the media aide to engage in positive propaganda aimed at improving the image of your boss, you unfortunately resulted in insulting the collective sense of the youths in the constituency.
My simple advise to Hon. Ahmed Mohammed is for him to simply apologize to the youths of Ankpa I for the unfortunate act of Prince Tijani Yusuf, and also check the caliber of people he appoints as media aides. They should be people who are not carried away by simple event, but people who carry and manage simple political event.
