I lack words to describe the council Boss of Ajaokuta LGA, Honourable Akaaba Mustapha. On 27th August 1991 Ajaokuta local government area was created and fortunately it was the most blessed LGA in the country as it comprised various natural resources within her environ.
14 wards made up Ajaokuta LGA and subdivided into three districts; Ebiya, Eganyi and Ajaokuta axis.
As the unique LGA in Kogi state, Ajaokuta LG stand on her own to produce a constituency; Federal House of Representatives, House of Assembly and the Council seat. Irrespective of these elective positions Ajaokuta always gain more political appointments such as supervisors to the Governor, commissioners, permanent secretaries e.t.c. In spite of this divine favour Ajaokuta citizens dwell in abject poverty, retard social and economic development, poor social amenities, bad roads excetera. This misfortune was initiated by the political Hoitytoities, political misanthropes who lacks political conceptualism.
The victory of Governor Yahaya Bello, the anointed Messiah, is a good news to the people of Ajaokuta LGA as there is compunction in pillaging what belongs to the general masses to personal pocket. The Talk and Do Administrator, Hon. Akaaba Mustapha and his team have brought to reality the physical manifestation of what New Direction blueprint intend for her people. It is on record that the Administrator set strategies to vanquished all challenges faced by Ajaokuta citizens in terms of inadequate security, frequent rubbery attacks, kidnapping and oil bunkering vandals.
Also, he has drawn the dividend of democracy to all door step as he has removed Ajaokuta citizen from blackout today. Since December 2015 we dwell in darkness as our electricity is in a state of damage. Hon Akaaba Mustapha’s  proactive style and good leadership ethics has propelled him to fixed many roads, rehabilitate hospitals and schools to an acceptable limits.
Earlier today the council boss, the secretary Jibril Abu, the cashier Achuja Nasiru and other administrative members were at Adogo and Ajaokuta people celebrated them and promised their undaunted support for their administration. The people’s Honorable said to his people; “My joy knows no bound as your welfare is always my priority”. He gave assurances that Governor Bello will look into other rural electrification projects in Ajaokuta diaspora such as Ubabara to Upake and Apanko communities, notwithstanding roads and other valuable projects will be commencing in no distant time.
“The electrification project I completed today claims millions notwithstanding it is just an evidence of many things yet to come, Governor Bello believed in me and has brought me to amplify his vision throughout my local government. I will not disappoint him”, Akaaba said.
The transformation agenda has began in my dear Ajaokuta LGA, the impact of GYB new direction can not be underestimated in Ajaokuta LGA.
