I,  Alfa Tijani calls on the National Party Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie Oyegun to apologise to Kogitess for the kind of “bad governance and leadership” the party administered on the state in the two years it spent in office.
I also called on the governor to eat the humble pie and apologise to the people for the way it mismanaged the state for the two years he ruled the state, saying their apologies would be the most honourable thing to do.
Instead of making excuses, the governor should be remorseful and apologetic for plunging the state into the mess it found itself. The governor brought this state into disrepute, domestic and international odium, economic crisis, insecurity, unemployment, unprecedented corruption, abuse of state apparatus, infrastructural decadence, poverty, and many other issues. But instead of being remorseful and apologetic, the governor, through its hungry authors, has been making defenceless excuses and arguments.
The only thing that the party has been able to give to Kogites is propaganda having allegedly failed to deliver dividends to the citizenry.
It has been two years since the ‘Ruling Party in opposition’ took over power in January 2016 and
all the APC has done since assumption of office is complaining and whining, instead of governance and delivering to Kogites its campaign promises.
We have not also forgotten how the APC in opposition politicized all issues of governance without proffering a single solution to any of them, but remained adamant, condemning the sincere policies of previous  administration.
Kogites have never been so hungry in their entire lives, except during the Civil War as seen in the last two years. Workers and pensioners are no longer excited with the APC’s selective payment in Kogi state.
