Government are a trial for men, only do few knows. It island a way for serving people not to steal their wealth which was entrusted in you. The truth is bitter but its result is sweet, falsehood appears to be sweet but it is poisonous in its effects. Seek the grace of God in your administration Yahaya Bello, because grace of God is the best guide.
Do not steal public fund,because,it earns the anger of God. The Prophet (SAW ) said”He who enriched himself with people’s money will eventually be deepened in poverty, both is this world and hereafter” , their generation will be wiped out, they would be poor in wisdom, poor in good health, they will permanently earns the anger of God.
Do not sell the hereafter for the world. When you lack faith, you steal public money and consequently, you will become arrogant and stingy. Remember that wealth without faith is the greatest poverty. When power is given to a faithless person, God will replace his head with that of a donkey. He will become shameless and arrogant, he will become a tyrant and merciless to the creation of God, he will change some of his friends, in fact some will even change parents but they will end up having nobody when the money and power is taken away from them.wealth accumulated when the masses are suffering is a hell fire which will start consuming you from this world. Any wealth that bring dishonor is not wealth but illusion.
Power and wealth is temporary and therefore, lead and live such a life, that, when you die,the people may mourn you, and while you are alive they long for your company. The days of life pass away like clouds, so do good while you are alive. Prince Abubakar Audu is remembered for his good deeds today, it is not because he does not have some shortcomings but his good work and generosity has hid his shortcomings. Be generous in your leadership styles, with your wealth and wisdom because the wealth of a miser is as useless as pebbles.
A leader must not succumb to the pressure of the sycophants, he should not be distracted by their praises, he should not allowed himself to be disconnected with realities. Know that He who praises you murders you and He who praises himself is deficient of intellect. Take leadership to the grassroots and desist from being tyrannical,because, God hastens the fall of a tyrant. To oppress the weak is the worst tyranny. It is tyrannical not to pay workers salary.
Kogi state Governor should have the above enumerated facts as a watch wards. Get some good hands and don’t be afraid of enemies,as we know that, the sycophants will always incite fears of enemies into your spirit but a wise enemy is better than a foolish friend.
A good governor must not divert the public funds from its original purpose. Legitimate earnings last forever. A little that is earned because of honest Labour is better than a larger amount gained through dishonest means.
He who deliberately refuses to pay workers at the right time is the enemy of God and the Prophet (SAW) said, these persons will not be part of us on the judgement day” He said ” what you do not like for yourself, do not like it for others ” of course, it won’t be palatable for you not be paid for your stewardship. I noticed that Bello government and his men are always reactive to issues and as such , they only play a defensive game, it is impossible to win.
Learn from the past leaders good works and mistakes so that you can be near perfect in the exhibition your stewardship. There is no mistakes from God, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from. As for us, at the moment, Bello’s government is a bitter lesson which we do not want to learn further. In the end, if his Excellency did not have a paradigm change, He will regret the chances he never took. Leadership is an opportunity to serve, to correct the past government mistakes and to be a comforter to the masses not a punishment as it is today.
The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning. Take your mind back to the rich men in your community like 30 years ago, you will find that they have all gone into extinct except the few ones who were good to the poor. These ones, their names will never be abolished. You have a sleeping executives. A barking dog is better than a sleeping lion. The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self restraint enough to keep from meddling with them while they do it.
The APC major supporters have since retired to faith and we have since realized that, the secret of life is to make stepping stones out of the stumbling blocks. Our destiny is in the hands of our creator. No matter how wildly,despairingly, acutely miserable, but through it all, we know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand.
We are very much grateful to God that we are not part of the mess going on in our state. Though we are not happy with the situation, but our integrity and personality remain sacrosanct.
We pray that God should remove all the bad advisers and aides, that are misleading the Governor from their post and change the mind of the governor to serve the masses accordingly. Amin summa Amin.
Let me at this juncture suggests to His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to get down on his knees before the Almighty Allah, the magnificent Father who parcels out all Heaven and Earth. And ask Him to strengthen you by His Spirit – not a brute strength – that He will guide as you open the door and invite Him in.
