“A child who doesn’t know the efficacy of herbal leaves would always refer to all as vegetables”.

Barrister Natasha Akpoti who many see as the daughter of a respected politician, late Dr. Akpoti has again thrown caution to the wind by sliding her person and dragging the name of her respected family to the mud while acting an orchestrated political script to seek sympathy from the members of the public.

In what looks like an allegations leveled against the person of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State, the award winning ambassador of peace and the Chief Security Officer of the State to have ordered the Administrators of Adavi and Okehi Local Governments to unleash mayhem on her supporters were nothing, but a blatant lie and a malicious campaign of calumny.

Barr. Natasha, please permit me to take you back on memory lane when the very person you accused of instigating crisis appointed you mid last year as a member of Kogi APC Reconciliatory Committee headed by Barr.

Muhammed Sadiq from Ajaokuta and yourself appointed the Secretary, in a bid to reconcile all the aggrieved party members across Kogi Central Senatorial zone which of course went smoothly. If the political game didn’t go in your favour as envisaged, why then do you think the only way to achieve your desire is to instigate the public against the government or embark on blackmail, malicious publications and sponsoring thugs to cause chaos and in turn run to the media crying foul for being victimized by the peace-loving Administrators of those Local Governments?

Sadly for you, the ruling Party is waxing stronger, making her ambition sponsored by Abuja based cabals a mere wishful thinking and social media propaganda at best.

The Kogi Central Media Crew find this episode of yours very contradictory, counterproductive, capable of causing chaos and security breach and of course unnecessary heating of polity.

It is also pertinent to know that politics is never a do or die affairs, no, we don’t subscribe to that as well, as a number of Ebira illustrious sons and daughters had come this way, they had also aspired for this position in the past but never delve into such dirty way of politicking.

However, this your uncultured style where you placed yourself above everyone is completely alien to our culture as a group of people. Remember, whatever you do today, the society is taking cognizance of all your mundane behaviors and of course will surely have effects and reflects on your future political ambitions.

Ms Natasha, you should further be reminded that thousands of diaspora politicians running their mouth on social media who are currently pushing you neither have PVCs nor formidable political structure on ground that can attract and win votes for you. Thus, they only have a premeditated plan to spoil your future political career and as well put you on the dark side of history.

The Administrators of Adavi and Okehi Local Governments, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami and Hon. AbdulRaheem Ozovehe Ohiare respectively whom you alleged to have disrupted your political activities were both behind your easy ride and movement across the Local Governments with adequate logistics and security covers in a view you settle down politically.

The duo have always carried out their activities with caution and in total loyalty to their boss who always say “My acquaintance culture, spiritual and doctrinal upbringing doesn’t teach me to condemn or diminish people, but to accept constructive criticism for the interest of good governance”.

Dear Ms Natasha Akpoti, we advice you strongly to work hard, allow honesty and sincerity guide you very well to the poll. Hopefully, next time you may still be considered by the good people of Central provided you change your style. Therefore, we will gladly conclude with the following prayers:

Do not allow anybody to input and sustain what will not benefit your political career;

Embark on an issue-based campaign with a bundle of inspiration rather than celebrity style;

Let your political activities not be of the ordinance of destruction, but of contents and constructive engagements, filled with the instruction that will feed your intellects;

As a learned person, you should be aware of the implications of deforming people’s character just to gain public sympathy and score cheap political points;

Finally, stop misleading the public and instigating irate youths to cause social unrest.

Signed:
Abubakar Abdullahi
