AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY GOVERNOR YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO, THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE SOLICITING FOR SCHOLARSHIP FOR MASTERS AND PhD PROGRAMS.
With due respect I forward this application into your office in respect of the above subject matter.
I, Muhammed Onoruoyiza Abdulhaqq, a graduate of Project Management Technology with First Class Honours from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State humbly write this letter on behalf of myself and my colleagues whom I graduated with from the same University in 2016. We recently concluded the one (1) year compulsory National Youth Service as required by the Federal Government.
Sir, your doggedness to stand for what you believe in, irrespective of the challenges, your humanitarian services to the people of Kogi State. And most importantly your unbelievable role towards the development of the state has been something of a diadem which is difficult to witness any where in the world. Sir, it must be stated unequivocally and with no fear of retribution that your adminstration has steadily move the state forward in all works of life. Therefore I say big kudos to you as a real ‘ozi anebira oboro’.
Sir, I would like to bring it to your notice that out of the 34 First Class graduates produced by FUTMinna in 2016, we were privileged to be among those students that graduated with such honour.
Before reaching out to you under this platform, We have explored all possible ways to get to the right authorities for help but all to no avail.
We wish to further our studies and venture into academia, but without a second degree, it is just a pipe dream.
To this end, we are appealing to you for your assistance in supporting us to further our studies for our Masters and PhD programs. You have been a source of inspiration to us and your better understanding of the educational plight of your people is commendable and with your help, we shall make Ebiraland proud by contributing to physically, financially, psychology and socially to the forward movement of Kogi state as we have already started by graduating with First Class Honours .
As I write this epistle, we do not have a source of income. We have no other means of sponsoring ourselves for further studies. But then, we can’t give up on our dreams, for education is the only tool to enlighten the mind and make change in the world.
