With the highest regards, I wish to first and foremost appreciate your obvious contributions to the development of our dear state as a voice everyone must reckon with. Your confidence has inspired so much youths to begin to get started in productive endeavors. Today, even persons you have met on just one occasion are beginning to claim the highest level of friendship between you and them.
Sir, it is important for all hands to be on deck to ensure unity in the APC Family, as the crisis that has rocked the party after the 2015 general election is still part of the things affecting the development of the state indirectly. I am concerned about this because I was one of the youths who ensured that the change idea in 2015 was ensured. Therefore, I hold an authority of opinion when I see things going wrong.
Mentorship is a very gradual process but very essential in the development of every society, there must be a very individual who every emerging youth ideology should bank on to be the inspiration of their movement.
This time already, it has become very expedient for you to call on your political family to warn and advise them to put a stop to throwing insults and embarrassing the personality of some persons. My concern in particular is the recent use of abusive words towards Rt Hon Umar Buba Jibril, the Deputy majority leader house of representatives and member representing Lokoja/Koto federal constituency.
Hon Buba Jibril is an outstanding politician in the league of elders statesmen whose political stake has been of very productive impact on the lives of his constituents since 2003-till date. His style of leadership that gives him upper chance in every political outing or election is what is still promoting him uptil this time around. This is man who has fought against the interest of past executive governors of Kogi State like Alhaji Ibrahim idriss, Capt Idriss ichalla wada and late Prince Abubakar Audu in 2007, 2011 and 2003 respectively and some of the most influential sons and daughters to ever come out from the shores of Kogi state state but yet come victorious at the end of the day.
RT Hon. Umar Buba Jibril (DAMA) as he’s popularly called in his immediate community, he’s someone whose leadership prowess and achievements are spread across Lokoja/Koto federal constituency and as such, you will prefer having his type in your fold than those the government has previously trusted with leadership role in Lokoja/Koto axis but woefully failed.
If he is interested in seeking reelection, let the people decide his faith. There is no need for for them to abuse him because doing so will obviously bring a lot of loss to the GYB FAMILY and might create room for More doubts and enmity ahead of the reconciliation team set up by President Buhari and headed by a renown politician and party stalwart Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Hon Buba Jibril has been silent on all the political crisis in kogi state not because he has nothing to say but because of his maturity and much experience in politics.
Sir, they said “It is easy to find a thousand soldiers, but hard to find a good general.”what this proverb means is that Hon Umar Buba jibril is an outstanding leader and a five star general in game of politics. Therefore, as concerned citizens, I am strongly advise you and your family members to avoid too much enemies to the government. You can not fight many ears and expect to win.
