Gbanciku, Kede, Afakriya and kporoka. the 4 communities under your watch in Lokoja LGA – have been in total blackout since August. Our only transformer, the one facilitated 22 years ago by Late Hon. Buba Jibrin during Alh. Ibrahim Idris administration, has finally died.
22 years it served us, Sir. 22 years! Today it is dead and we are dead in darkness.
Hon. Team Best, Sir, we have seen your good works:
You gave 500 of our children FREE JAMB* and CBT training at Muhammadu Buhari Centre.
You fought for the Marine Police Station and waterways security.
You are a man of Lokoja First Agenda.
Now, your people need light more than anything.
Our welders, barbers, grinders have closed shop. Our children cannot read at night. Our boreholes cannot pump water. Thieves are entering our houses at night because there is no light.
Sir, we will write to Hon. Aguye for Federal help, but YOU are our direct father in the State Assembly. Your voice is louder in Lokoja than anyone.
We beg you sir, use your office. Move a motion. Call AEDC. Call His Excellency Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo. Help us replace this 22-year-old transformer
