The Onyi Ododo Forum, New Zango, in Adavi Local Government Area, has expressed its full support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the party’s chairmanship candidate for Adavi LG, Hon. Sule Ozovehe Jimoh, to emerge as the next Executive Chairman.
In his opening remarks, the pioneer chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Abdulrazak Salawu, praised the group’s leadership for their unwavering commitment to taking the forum to greater heights.
During a solidarity visit, the forum’s Chairman, Mallam Musari Salawu, donated face caps bearing the name of Hon. Sule Ozovehe Jimoh to support his campaign ahead of the local government elections.
He stated that the entire Onyi Ododo Forum has passed a vote of confidence in his leadership and thrown its total support behind his victory in the forthcoming polls.
Mallam Musari added that the forum has looked at ways to contribute its quota in a small way to support his aspirations as a show of love for his candidacy.
While presenting face caps to the Adavi LG APC chairmanship candidate on behalf of the Onyi Ododo Forum, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Adavi East State Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), described the gesture as commendable and expressed his excitement over the forum’s support.
He further stated that both he and Hon. Ozovehe are automatic members of the Onyi Ododo Forum and promised to throw their support behind the group.
In his response, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adavi Local Government chairmanship candidate, Hon. Sule Ozovehe Jimoh, has expressed profound joy over the surprise donation of campaign face caps by the Onyi Ododo Forum.
He appreciated the leadership of the group for their conduct, transparency, and accountability in the forum, stressing that they should keep up the good work and that God will increase their strength.
Hon. Ozovehe pledged to run an inclusive administration focused on the grassroots in Adavi Local Government Area, emphasizing that his strong ties to the Onyi Ododo Forum and collaboration with them remain vital for community development.
He applauded the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his consistent payment of salaries, infrastructural development, and the protection of the lives and property of citizens.
