The Onyi Ododo Forum in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, held a weekly meeting to rally grassroots support and ensure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general elections.
The Chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Musari Salawu, urged all members of the group to embark on a house-to-house campaign for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates at all levels.
He appreciated the mother of the Governor, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, for the clothes she donated to the forum ahead of the campaign, praying that Allah will reward her abundantly.
The treasurer of the forum, Mallam Bello Ibrahim, commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), for his efforts in mobilizing INEC officials to the Ida-Ovu community to register residents.
The leader of the women, Hon. Zainab Jimoh Ozovehe expressed her gratitude to the governor’s mother for her generosity toward the forum, and she prayed that Allah would continue to bless and guide her throughout her life.
An indigenous song was released by Utor Eid woman leader, Mrs Agnes Mathew Ozohu to praise the mother of Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, for her continuous generosity and support for the masses.
The secretary of the group, Mallam Muhammed Jamiu Daud, praised the leadership of Onyi Ododos Forum for piloting the affairs of the group. He prayed for the Governor’s mother regarding the empowerment she recently gifted the group, adding that all the women leaders were full of joy.
