A one time Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi has described the death of Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba, as a loss one too many, for the State to contend with.
IN a press statement signed by his media aide Mike Abu, Awoniyi described the Late Onukaba as a refined journalist cum politician who was in the struggle for a brand new Kogi State.
The former Deputy Governor lauded the role Onukaba played in the enthroning of a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, administration in the state in 2003, He said Onukaba will be remembered for being forthright, dogged and committed to a sustainable democracy.
While he prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased a peaceful rest, Awoniyi, prayed God to grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss urging them to be consoled by the good works and legacies late Onukaba left on the sands of times.
