The GYB Frontiers has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his emergence as the standard bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
The group said that they were not surprised of his victory, having worked tirelessly to ensure that APC is a party to beat in the state.
In a statement signed by the chairman and secretary, Alhaji Hans Muhammed and Abdulateef Onusi respectively, the ground stated that “one good term deserves another.”
They commended the delegates for their steadfastness and courage.
According to the the group, the party’s fortunes has improved under the leadership of Governor Bello, saying that it is only a Bello ticket that will lead the party to victory in the November 16 governorship election.
The group called on the electorate to vote massively for the Governor in November for sustainable development in Kogi state.
According to the statement, Kogi State is now on the party of progress and prosperity where the resources of the state is now being used for the people instead of syphoning it out of the state.
They equally enjoined the Governor to continue in his good works of ensuring adequate security of lives and property of the citizenry, provision of qualitative healthcare services, construction and rehabilitation of roads, provision of quality education, youths and women empowerment, which they noted has become the hallmark of the Bello administration.
They promised to work harder, by canvassing for votes for the Governor ahead of the election in November, assuring that the Governor would be victorious.
