The coordinator of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Omala chapter, Comrade Ocheje Moses, has commended the Caretaker Chairman of the local government, Hon. Mark Edibo on his efforts in bringing a lasting peace to Bagana axis and the entire communities that made up the local government.
The coordinator gave the commendation in an official statement in Lokoja on Thursday.
He said the dubious acts of killing and destruction of properties worth millions of naira was almost a reoccurring exercise with little or no government attention until the Caretaker Chairman’s assumption of office.
The NYCN coordinator said the chairman has demonstrated competence, boldness, and humanity in handling the security threat in the land.
He said the visit of the state governor, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo and the recent presence of the Nigeria military architecture is a show of readiness in bringing total peace, which will in turn revive the economic activities of the land.
He equally commended the caretaker chairman on his all inclusive style of leadership particularly in the area of youths inclusiveness as seen in his recent political appointments.
He went further to plead with the council boss to intensify in his youth engagement and create more entrepreneurial avenues for the young minds.
