The people of Omala Local Government Area of Kogi state can heave a sigh of relief from having to stay under tents and canopies while holding community meeting in Abejukolo, the headquarters of the LGA, as the member representing the constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. “The old town hall building was destroyed by torrential rainfall and if all of us just fold our hands without doing something about it then we have collectively failed our land. It is on the basis of this that I have decided to commit my resources and constituency fund to the building of a befitting edifice for our people.

“This project is for all the sons and daughters of Omala and I implore every one with means to contribute his resources towards its early completion. The project is in dire need of our collective contribution. It has never been in my character that only me should build an edifice for the overall good of our people.

“I consider it as a direct labour in which every one is to contribute his energy and finance to enable prompt completion of the project. I therefore encourage all and sundry to pay attention to the project and not to say it is my project. God is only using me to kickstart the project,” he stated.
