Omala Attacks: Kogi Deputy Governor Visits, Sympathizes With Victims

Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo has reiterated the commitment of Governor Usman Ododo-led administration to bring an end to every manner of attacks on rural communities.

Comrade Oyibo who said this during a security consultation in Ofu.

He sympathised with the victims of the recent communal attack at Agojo Eju Odo, in Omala Local Government Area, saying that this administration has taken the security of lives and properties as the number one priority in the state.

He warned that nobody should dare to toy with this administration in any way, noting that the government of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is favourable to the law abiding citizens in the state, adding that the administration can also be harsh to those who are bent on causing havoc in the land.

Comrade Joel Oyibo called on traditional rulers to warn every member of their domains to desist from criminal activity that is capable of landing them in trouble. He urged the people to embrace peace in order that the state can live in peace. He said the perpetrators of Agojo Eju Odo’s attack will not go unpunished.
