As part of the initiatives to commemorate his 33rd birthday on December 23rd 2022, Olu Onemola, has announced a scholarship scheme for 33 secondary school students of St. Barnabas Secondary School, Kabba, Kogi State.
A statement from his media office on Thursday said the scholarship scheme is the “beginning of our efforts to provide help to the young people of Oweland.”
Onemola said his firm belief that education is the bedrock of development is the key reason he initiated the scheme.
“Yes, we will continue to sustain and expand the scholarship for more children and more families. However, with this first batch, we are hoping that we can provide further access to education for our young people.
“I am grateful to all our elders, and community leaders who have helped in facilitating this process that will improve the lives of our people. I thank my parents too for their advice. Moving forward, I am determined to impact more lives in any way that I can,” Onemola said.
