“The past executives of our ODA have set a high tone for collective actions and the legacies, therefore, can not be forgotten in a hurry as these are known by everyone in and around Olle. They have clearly shown the world that Olle Bunu is not a community that can be relegated to the background in any area of human endeavour,” he said.

“It is with this in mind that we, the new executive of Olle Development Association (ODA) wish to call on everyone, male, female, old and young. Even those who are non-natives of Olle will be encouraged to join us in our communal drive to move Olle to its place of pride among its equals.”

Engr. Ibishagba noted that various challenges facing the community and called for support and commitment from development partners in all fronts.

A forum the present ODA Executives will support to strive in restoring the glory of the school and to alleviate the suffering of our people.

“These moves, which signify a new beginning of a new Olle, will quickly yield possible results if we build on love, unity and remain focused. This must be our watchword, as we stand shoulder to shoulder and equal partners working to salvage the lots of our people.

“Just like every other community around us, we lack the basic social amenities: water, electricity and road, with a near-zero availability of health care facilities. We all need to seek ways to help ourselves. Building the community we can all be proud of is a collective responsibility hence we must get ready to make sacrifices, morally, materially, financially and Otherwise. As it is said: ‘little drops of water make a mighty ocean’,” ODA President emphasized.

He reiterated that this is not a time for anyone to think of him or herself less equal than others as the Exco members are willing and ready to work with everyone whose objectives, contributions, comments suggestions, advice, donations, and above all, prayers will help deliver on the ODA’s mandate which is to ensure the growth and development of our great community, Óllé.
