Okumoh Hails Sunday Dare as He Takes Charge of Youth and Sport Ministry

Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Audu Yahaya Okumoh has hailed the appointment of Hon. Sunday Dare as Minister for Youth and Sports.

In a press statement, Okumoh stated that Dare’s posting to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as a round peg in a round hole.

Okumoh, who have an already established relationship with the new minister before now, urged him to implement problem solving programs and policies as he sets his agenda for Nigeria youths especially at a time like this when the youths needs serious mentorship, guidance and empowerment to aid them take on more leadership roles in the country and join in solving today’s societal problems.

“I wish you the best as you represent us because your youth ministry is my primary constituency. I wish you a very good luck for your present and your future portfolios too,” he said.

Sources has it that Hon. Sunday Dare expressed delight as he met with Hon. Okumoh at the inauguration reception.

In Okumoh’s statement, he also sized the opportunity to congratulate the Minister of State FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijani who hails from his home state, Kogi.

He commended her for her immense contribution to the APC and Kogi State.
