Hon Suleiman Kokori-Abdul, a member of the 6th National Assembly representing Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency of Kogi State has signified his interest to contest for the seat come 2015.
While addressing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Executives, Elders, Women, Youth and other stakeholders in the constituency, reiterates his intention to contest the party ticket in the forthcoming primary election scheduled for 15th November, 2014.
A cross section of People stressed the need to return Kokori-Abdul to the National Assembly noting that the Oken/Ogori Magongo constituency had not had it so good since he left office in 2011.
Prince Eneye Mohammed, the Senior Aide to Hon Kokori-Abdul outlined his principal’s achievement to included the following:
*Provision of electricity transformers.
*Construction of blocks of classrooms
*Construction of blocks of public toilets
*Provision of hospital equipments
*Provision of solar powered streetlights.
*Provision of school furniture & teaching aids.
*Provision of security support vehicles.
*Award of busary to indigent students
*Empowerment of Women & Elders.
